The World's Fastest Indian (2005, PG 13)
Rated
PG 13 for brief language, drug use and a sexual reference.
Starring Anthony Hopkins. Set in the 1960s, this is an inspirational
true story of individual triumph. Burt Munro is a 68-year-old New Zealander
who surmounts all odds to break speed records on the Bonneville
Salt Flats
atop his ancient Indian motorcycle. Burt is a loveable, quixotic,
tenacious geezer, who charms his way through an iconic Western landscape peppered
with a succession of colorful characters. “...should be mandatory
viewing for anyone who has ever said, I’m getting too old for this” (Minneapolis
Star Tribune). “...a movie about an old coot and his motorcycle,
yes, but it is also about a kind of heroism that has gone out
of style.” (Chicago
Sun-Times).
