From Bergen County:

Take the George Washington Bridge (toll) to the West Side Highway.

Take the West Side Highway SOUTH to 96th Street.

Go EAST on 96th Street through Central Park to Lexington Avenue.

Go SOUTH on Lexington to 80th Street.

All Souls is on the southeast corner of 80th Street and Lexington Avenue.

From Union, Morris, or Somerset Counties:

Take I-78 to Pulasky Skyway (Routes 1 and 9) to the Holland Tunnel. Go through the tunnel (toll).

Take your first RIGHT (immediately after the tunnel) onto Hudson Street.

Go NORTH on Hudson Street. Hudson Street will become 8th Avenue. Continue until 23rd Street.

Go EAST on 23rd Street to Madison Avenue.

Go NORTH on Madison to 80th Street. Go EAST on 80th Street - two blocks to Lexington Avenue.

All Souls is on the southeast corner of 80th Street and Lexington Avenue.

From South Jersey:

Take the New Jersey Turnpike.

Take the Turnpike Extension to the Holland Tunnel. Go through the tunnel (toll).

Take your first RIGHT (immediately after the tunnel) onto Hudson Street.

Go NORTH on Hudson Street. Hudson Street will become 8th Avenue. Continue to 23rd Street.

Go EAST on 23rd Street to Madison Avenue.

FROM LONG ISLAND:

Take the Long Island Expressway (495) West to the Queens Midtown Tunnel.

On the Manhattan side of the tunnel, follow signs to the FDR Drive, heading North.

Follow FDR Drive North to 96th Street. Drive WEST on 96th Street to Lexington Avenue. LEFT on Lexington Avenue.

SOUTH to 80th Street. All Souls is on the southeast corner of 80th Street and Lexington Avenue.

FROM QUEENS:

Take the 59th Street Bridge (Queensboro Bridge).

On the Manhattan side, follow signs to First Avenue. At first Avenue, make a LEFT.

Drive NORTH on First Avenue to 81st Street. Make a LEFT turn onto 81st Street.

Drive three avenues WEST on 81st Street to Lexington Avenue. Make a LEFT turn on Lexington Avenue.

Drive one block SOUTH to 80th Street and Lexington Avenue. All Souls Church is on the southeast corner of Lexington and 80th Street.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION FROM PORT AUTHORITY, GRAND CENTRAL STATION, AND PENN STATION:

SUBWAY:

Metrocards are needed for entry to the subway and can be bought at the booth in the subway station (many stations also have Metrocard vending machines). There is a subway station at Port Authority and Grand Central and one block east of Penn Station. A single ride costs $2, but are cheaper if Metrocards are bought in higher denominations.

From Port Authority: Take the E train going to Uptown/Queens. Get off at the Lexington stop.

Transfer (no transfer slip or extra fare are needed on the subway system) to the Lexington Avenue uptown local train (#6) to 77th Street.

From Grand Central Station: Take the Lexington Avenue uptown local train (#6) to 77th Street.

From Penn Station: Walk one block east to 8th Avenue and 34th Street. Take the E train going to Uptown/Queens. Get off at the Lexington stop.

Transfer (no transfer slip or extra fare are needed on the subway system) to the Lexington Avenue uptown local train (#6) to 77th Street.

All Souls is two blocks north between 79th and 80th, on the east side of the street.

MTA BUS:

The bus requires a Metrocard. A single ride costs $2, but are cheaper if Metrocards are bought in higher denominations.

From Port Authority: Take the 42nd Street crosstown bus (find a bus stop on the south side of 42nd Street). Ask for a transfer when you pay your fare. Get off at Madison Avenue. Take either the #1, #2, #3, or #4 bus uptown to 79th Street. Walk one block north and two blocks east to All Souls.

From Grand Central: From Madison Avenue and 42nd Street, take either the #1, #2, #3, or #4 bus uptown to 79th Street. Walk one block north and two blocks east to All Souls.

From Penn Station: Take the 34th Street crosstown bus (find a bus stop on the south side of 34th Street). Ask for a transfer when you pay your fare. Get off at Madison Avenue. Take either the #1, #2, #3, or #4 bus uptown to 79th Street. Walk one block north and two blocks east to All Souls.

Take I-95 to the Bruckner Expressway. Take the Triboro Bridge into Manhattan (toll).
