LETTER TO THE EDITOR

I am an All Souls member with a recent achievement to report. For the past year, I have been playing ‘The Leading Man’ in The Musical Of Musicals (The Musical!) Off-Broadway at the York Theatre. Our show has been a runaway hit there and transfers this week [Editor’s Note: Feb. 10, 2005] to the new Dodger Stages in the Theatre District.

The show parodies five different musical theatre styles, and incredibly, I have had the chance to perform for and to meet most of my childhood theatre heroes: Stephen Sondheim, Harold Prince, Carol Channing, Arthur Laurents, Lauren Bacall, John Kander and Fred Ebb, etc. It has really has been a lifelong dream come true.

You can find out more about the show at www.musicalofmusicals.com [or www.t-m-o-m.com]. I’ve been meaning to contact the Quarterly about this for some time, and thought the re-opening would be a good time to finally do it.

All the best,
Craig Fols
