Two All Souls authors have had new books published in recent months:

The Diplomacy of Hope: The United Nations Since the Cold War is by Newton R. Bowles, published by I.B. Tauris, Publishers, in Canada. Mr. Bowles had had a distinguished career at the UN since its inception in 1945 and became a member of All Souls in 2004.

Heart’s Desire is by Laura Pedersen, published by Ballantine Books. This is a sequel to Beginners Luck, the first of a projected series of four books. Laura is also the author of several other books and an occasional financial columnist for the New York Times. She is a life-long UU.
