THE RALPH WALDO EMERSON READERS’ CIRCLE
—by Camille Morgan

The Ralph Waldo Emerson Readers’ Circle gathers together each 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 6:45PM in the Ware Room. Each attendee reads a portion of the essay chosen for that day—or, we choose from the many Transcendentalist writers of that era, who shared and expanded Emerson’s thinking. We readers enjoy pondering the individualism Emerson is known for offering to mankind in consideration of his relationship to God. Our discussions are lively and enriching. Please join us. Our reference reader is The Essential Writings of Ralph Waldo Emerson (Modern Library Classics.).
