Cheryl
M. Walker
Cheryl M. Walker most recently served as Intern Minister at
the Unitarian Church of Montclair. Prior to her internship, she
was a chaplain at New York Presbyterian Hospital.
She received her Master of Divinity in 2004 from the Union Theological
Seminary in New York, where she was awarded the Maxwell Fellowship
for the “promise of excellence in parish ministry” While
in seminary, she served part-time at All Souls as our seminarian.
She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from
Springfield College, MA.
Prior to
pursuing Unitarian Universalist parish ministry, Cheryl spent
over twenty years in Information
Technology for a variety
of financial institutions. She is a long time member of the
Community Church of New York (Unitarian Universalist), where
she has served
as Co-chair of the Homeless Shelter Committee and the Chair
of the Adult Religious Education Committee. |
